Community Solar Program – Sydney

BACKGROUND:
Sydney Solar has been awarded a contract under the Community Solar Program. It is expected to power approximately 200 to 250 homes. 
PROJECT OWNERS:
AI Renewables is a Flow-Through Limited Partnership, investing in Clean Infrastructure and Renewable energy projects that help to reduce energy costs and GHG Emissions in Canada. (www.airenewable.ca) They have partnered with The Multicultural Association of Cape Breton, a grass-roots, volunteer-led nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting ethnocultural community development in Unama’ki Cape Breton.
